BlockChat Terms of Service

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You affirm you can enter a binding agreement.
• If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm you’re authorized to bind it.

• Provide accurate account information and keep credentials confidential.
• You’re responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly of unauthorized use or security issues.

a) Ownership

You retain ownership of messages, posts, images, videos, and other content you share (“User Content”).

b) License to BlockChat

You grant BlockChat a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and otherwise use your User Content as needed to operate and improve the Services.

c) Responsibility

You’re solely responsible for your User Content and compliance with laws and these Terms.

• Violating laws or regulations.
• Harassing, threatening, or exploiting others.
• Sharing sexually explicit, obscene, or otherwise harmful content.
• Impersonation or deceptive identity practices.
• Spamming, scamming, or distributing malware.
• Attempting to bypass bans, restrictions, or technical protections (including via VPN/proxies).
• Interfering with or disrupting the Services or their infrastructure.

We may monitor, remove, or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines. We may suspend or terminate accounts for repeated or serious violations. Enforcement decisions are at our sole discretion.

• Certain features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by third parties (e.g., Stripe).
• By subscribing, you agree to pay applicable fees and taxes.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel in your account settings before the renewal date.
• Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

BlockChat, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer the Services without permission.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties regarding availability, reliability, or accuracy. Use at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlockChat and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of: (a) amounts you paid to us in the past 12 months, or (b) $50.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BlockChat and its affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, or violation of these Terms.

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Services at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflicts of law. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in California, unless otherwise required by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll provide reasonable notice (e.g., email or in-app notice). Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
