1) Scope & Applicability

This Privacy Policy describes how BlockChat (“BlockChat,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website and related services, including chat, posts, images, video features, and subscriptions (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.

This Policy doesn’t apply to third-party sites or services that may be linked from BlockChat. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

  • Moderation Signals: automated or manual flags (e.g., suspected policy violations, VPN/proxy detection, ban/cooldown events).

6) How We Share Information

  • Service Providers: hosting/CDN, storage (e.g., AWS S3), analytics/moderation, email, and payments (e.g., Stripe). They process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
  • Other Users: information you choose to share (e.g., posts, profile info, messages) per the features you use.
  • Legal/Protective: to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and property of BlockChat, our users, or the public.
  • Business Transfers: in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, data may be transferred as permitted by law.

We do not sell personal data.

7) Data Retention & Deletion

  • We retain data as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes.
  • When you delete content or your account, we delete or de-identify data within a reasonable period, subject to legal/technical constraints (e.g., backups, logs).
